PA 211 East is a service of United Way of Lancaster County which has long history of providing Information and Referral to its residents since it took over the Lancaster INformation Center (LINC) back in 1989. Lancaster County residents were able to reach was was then renamed as United Way LINC by dialing 717-291-5462(LINC). While in the Fall of 2011 residents were introduced to dialing 211 for information and resources, the localized 10-digit dialing code for LINC still routes to our Resources Naviagators 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Lancaster County residents can connect to resources including (but not limited to): Uitlities, Employment, Education, Child Care, Rental Assistance and more. In addition, 211 is a contracted screening partner for the Lancaster County Office for the Coalition for those experiencing homelessness.
